Trust in the Lord

‘Trust in the Lord
and lean not on your own understanding
In all your ways acknowledge Him
And He will make your paths straight.’

Trust in me, that I’ve got your back in EVERY stituation.

Trust in me, that EVERY step you take, I’ll be there.

Trust in me, that EVERY decision you make, that it will turn out alright.

Trust in me, I have plans to prosper you, to give you hope and a future.

Trust in me, I have your best interest at heart.

Trust in me.

Just, TRUST.

And for Him to speak so resonately till my fears were washed away and replaced by peace, how can I doubt anymore? How could I even doubt?

I find it ridiculous that I never fully understood what it means to trust until today. It’s so easy to say that Lord, ‘I trust in You’. It’s so easy to say that ‘Lord, I believe. Help me to overcome my unbelief’, but what does it exactly mean?

Trusting means believing that regardless of what happens, it will turn out well. After all, His plans are perfect. It means that regardless of any decisions that I have to make on my own, He is watching over me. It doesn’t matter whether it seems to be the best or the worst at that point in time. Eventually, His purpose in my life will unfold. It will ALL fall into place. He is the author of my life, it’s all in plan and it can’t go too wrong, it won’t go wrong.

What am I worrying/ anxious/ freaked out about?!

Jeremiah 29:11-14: “‘For I know the plans I have for you,’ declares the Lord, ‘plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to ou. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. I will be found by you.’”
